[Remote] WSS Engineer / Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) - Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading business and technology services provider, and they are seeking a WSS Engineer / Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) to support and optimize the infrastructure for their Epic ecosystem. The role involves managing Epic server components, monitoring performance, ensuring reputed company compliance, and collaborating with various teams to support clinical operations and IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Epic server components including Hyperspace, Interconnect, web servers, and reputed company middleware
  • Manage Chronicles, Cache/IRIS configurations, and system-level dependencies
  • Apply patches, upgrades, hotfixes, and coordinate release deployments across environments
  • Maintain documentation for system builds, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Monitor Epic server and application performance (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network throughput)
  • Tune system parameters to improve stability, responsiveness, and uptime
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, system failures, and infrastructure bottlenecks
  • Partner with application teams to diagnose and resolve end‑to‑end performance concerns
  • Administer and support reputed company Epic environments (PRD, TST, DEV, POC, TRN)
  • Coordinate environment refreshes, migrations, and system cloning activities
  • Ensure proper environment isolation, naming conventions, and configuration consistency
  • Support new module implementations and infrastructure readiness for Epic upgrades
  • Implement Epic system reputed company best practices including authentication, certificates, firewall rules, and reputed company controls
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and audit requirements
  • Monitor and manage audit logs, encryption standards, and privileged reputed company
  • Participate in reputed company assessments, risk reviews, and remediation planning
  • Work closely with Epic application teams, network, storage, virtualization, and reputed company teams

  • Participate in on-call rotations and reputed company after-hours support as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors and Epic technical support to resolve reputed company issues

Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) or equivalent Epic infrastructure role
  • Minimum 10 years supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and reputed company-scale Epic environments
  • Deep expertise with Epic components such as Hyperspace, Interconnect, MyChart, and system middleware
  • Strong experience with reputed company Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, certificates, and group policy
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, reputed company, VDI)
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company standards, HIPAA compliance, and audit practices
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Epic Cache/IRIS performance tuning
  • Familiarity with reputed company load balancing, clustering, and high-availability architectures
  • Experience supporting Epic mobile platforms (Haiku, reputed company, Rover)
  • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and interoperability frameworks
  • Epic certifications in relevant system administration or infrastructure tracks
