[Remote] Software Engineer, reputed company-End Focus

They are seeking a Software Engineer with a reputed company-end focus to build scalable applications using Angular and Typescript, while also mentoring engineers and shaping the technical direction of their insurance platform.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable reputed company-end applications using Typescript and Angular
• reputed company the development and delivery of small to reputed company-sized software projects from planning through release
• Set a high technical bar for engineering quality, maintainability, and best practices through example and peer collaboration
• reputed company pair programming sessions and mentor engineers across the team
• Drive reputed company-end architecture and design reputed company that improve scalability, performance, and developer experience
• reputed company and contribute to technical roadmaps reputed company with product and engineering priorities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, Insurance Product, and Actuarial teams to deliver impactful customer experiences
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Skills

• Track record of shipping small to reputed company-sized software projects in a production environment
• Experience building applications with Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
• Experience with modern SPA frameworks, including Angular 2+, API integrations, and state management patterns such as NgRx or Redux
• Experience building or composing reusable Web Components and component libraries
• Familiarity with BEM methodology and Object-Oriented CSS principles
• Experience working with APIs; Ruby on Rails experience is a plus
• Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and collaboration skills
• Comfortable mentoring teammates and contributing to technical direction and architectural discussions
• Ability to work reputed company Central or Eastern time zones strongly preferred
