[Remote] Sr Mechanical Engineer (SRM Analyst – Thermal Focus) (Remote option Available)

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to conduct detailed thermal analysis of solid reputed company motor components while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and interfacing with customers to drive technical reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment
- Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
- Confers with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and reputed company technical information
- Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
- Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
- Investigates equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to reputed company recommendations to maintenance crew

- Size internal insulation, external thermal protection systems, and structural insulators
- Validate models with test data; reputed company predictive ablation and erosion models
- Define sub-scale tests for characterizing material properties of insulators and ablators
- Evaluate and recommend ablative materials and thermal protection system solutions for applications in solid reputed company motors
- Create reports and presentations documenting analysis and other supporting work
- Present to peers and customers in design reviews
Skills
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
- Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
- Critical professional reputed company technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
