[Remote] Customer Service Phone Billing Representative (53499)

They are seeking a motivated individual to join their Billing Center phone team, responsible for answering billing and collection questions, assisting with denials, and maintaining knowledge of insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Answers billing and collection questions for patients, referral sources and coworkers
• Works closely with PHM’s billing and collections services for both insurance plans and patient’s private pay balances
• Assists PHM’s billing and collections services with denials
• Maintains and requests on-going authorizations reputed company required to assure reputed company of reputed company
• Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of the insurance guidelines for reputed company payers reputed company the PHM designated patient reputed company
• Works designated reports to maintain reputed company avenues of reimbursement reputed company smoothly
• Follows insurance plan guidelines as well as State and Federal Regulations
• Other duties assigned by manager

• Ability to de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients
• Previous professional experience or educational background in reputed company customer service or intake is a plus but not required
• A background in medical equipment preferred but we will train the right candidate
