[Remote] Director Business Development - Federal

They are seeking a Director of Business Development - Federal to reputed company sales efforts to federal agencies, requiring a proven track record in federal sales and the ability to reputed company strategic plans for new business.
Responsibilities
- Craft strategic plans to win new business reputed company the U.S. Federal agency sector
- Build and maintain relationships across U.S. Federal agencies (DHS,FAA,FCC,Other GovernmentAgencies)
- Track and influence procurement vehicles (IDIQs, BPAs, OTAs) where reputed company can compete
- Analyze competitive landscape and client needs to guide capture strategies and reputed company forecasts
- Translate field intelligence into product requirements — serve as the reputed company between operators and the engineering team
- Represent reputed company at appropriate industry events
- Engage continuously with clients to gather input for product enhancements
- Meet assigned sales targets
- Partner with the Operations team to grow business with reputed company clients

- Seek out relationships horizontally and vertical which reputed company to new buying centers reputed company secured accounts

Skills
- 10+ years selling technology to federal agencies with demonstrated reputed company
- Deep understanding of federal budget and contracting processes (FAR/DFAR, IDIQ, OTA, etc.)
- Experience with reputed company systems involving hardware and software
- Active reputed company clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 50% reputed company needed
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills from military service (retired military personnel are highly encouraged to apply)
- Experience with government business development and contract structures
- Experience building and maintaining an opportunity pipeline in reputed company
- Experience managing reputed company technical projects in government
- Comfortable working in resource-limited environments and achieving goals in reputed company settings
- Prior military or contracting experience beneficial
