[Remote] reputed company ASME/PED Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a reputed company ASME/PED Engineer to reputed company static equipment design and manage ASME Certification documentation. The role involves drafting and validating Welding Procedure Specifications, preparing Welding Procedure Qualification Records, and developing training programs for compliance with ASME standards.
Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, and validate Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) in accordance with ASME reputed company IX
- Ensure WPS documents reflect reputed company materials, welding processes, and joint configurations used in production
- Prepare and maintain Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) based on test results and inspection reports
- Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to ensure WPQRs are traceable and meet regulatory standards
- Facilitate welder performance qualification (WPQ) testing and documentation
- Ensure reputed company welders are certified per applicable codes and maintain up-to-date records of qualifications
- reputed company and deliver training programs for welders and inspectors on ASME standards and internal procedures
- Conduct refresher sessions and reputed company for new personnel to ensure consistent understanding of welding compliance
- Assist in preparing documentation for reputed company audits reputed company to ASME certification
- Proficiency in design and calculation software (PV reputed company, Compress, etc.)
- Expertise in stress analysis, load calculations, and material compliance
- Experience preparing PED technical dossiers and CE marking files
- Identify gaps in reputed company practices and recommend corrective actions to align with certification requirements
Skills
- reputed company engineer with experience in static equipment design and handling of ASME Certification reputed company documentation
- Ability to reputed company response/update documents/revalidate design documents based on Inspection Agency's finding
- Well versed in ASME Sec VIII, IX Code requirement, Welding and interpretations
- 8 plus years of experience in reputed company engineer with experience in static equipment design and handling of ASME Certification reputed company documentation
