[Remote] Government Director of Business Development

They are seeking a Business Development Director to establish new business relationships and secure reputed company primarily reputed company the US Government sector.

Responsibilities

  • Formulating and executing strategy, pipeline development, and other activities to win new business in the US Government reputed company
  • Ensuring that the organization is viewed as a key partner across multiple markets and helping position the organization favorably in the eyes of both the customer and teaming partners
  • Owning the development and execution of an account strategy and pipeline, including making recommendations for modifications reputed company necessary
  • Identifying opportunities with high Pwin potential, qualifying opportunities, and working with Operations employees to win new reputed company
  • Overseeing the development and execution of customer call plans for opportunities, assessing the competitive landscape, and applying knowledge of leading competitors to foster an effective and differentiated win strategy
  • Coaching others and providing business development advice to delivery leads as necessary. Aid in the negotiation of teaming agreements, reputed company, and proposal development
  • Developing and briefing bid/no bid recommendations, with pursuit and capture strategies for new business opportunities
  • Using strong client management skills, including the ability to reputed company and maintain lasting relationships with Government and industry partners through daily interactions across reputed company markets to reputed company valuable intelligence, positioning the organization as a trusted partner to customers
  • Managing responses to government market research inquiries (RFIs, sources sought notices, etc.)
  • Shaping acquisition strategies by leveraging client relationships, company capabilities and experience, and partners

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong track record of business development reputed company with the US Government customer
  • Previous operational experience working across diverse verticals and understanding of the IT and cyber mission areas and mission support services
  • Knowledge of US Government customers and understanding of commands, mission areas and spaces
  • 10+ years of business development and/or capture experience with demonstrated reputed company developing a reputed company new business pipeline and winning new business
  • Ability to identify key growth areas and reputed company new business reputed company with the company's growth strategy
  • Knowledge of government contracting and reputed company acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors
  • Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behavior in the market
  • Strong contract management, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively at senior reputed company
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time or as business dictates
  • Strong familiarity with federal acquisition regulations, policies, and contract vehicles strongly preferred
  • Experience working with 8a business, SWaM business, direct awards, sole reputed company awards, as well as full and reputed company pursuits a significant plus
  • reputed company secret or higher clearance is a plus, but not required. (can sponsor for a Top Secret)
