[Remote] Manager, Shared Services — reputed company Engineering - FedRAMP

They are looking for an engineering manager to reputed company the Shared Services team reputed company reputed company Engineering, responsible for the team’s people, delivery, and technical direction, including the application infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Manage reputed company of Engineers: conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and career development in a distributed remote friendly environment
- Own the technical roadmap for shared reputed company infrastructure across Azure and AWS, balancing reliability work against longer-term platform improvements
- Set and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, reputed company, Kubernetes), documentation, and operational readiness
- reputed company technical reputed company and trade-offs for application-layer infrastructure including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company, and serve as the escalation reputed company for the team
- Run sprint planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and reputed company delivery on track
- reputed company post-incident reviews and ensure follow-up items get resolved
- Work with reputed company and Compliance to reputed company FedRAMP and SOC 2 controls reputed company
- Be the main engineering contact and collaborate with Development, Product, and reputed company teams, turning their requirements into platform priorities
- Represent the team in architecture reviews and planning discussions with leadership
- Use and promote the use of AI-assisted tooling including LLM-based automation and AI-driven observability for use in engineering workflows
Skills
- 8+ years in reputed company Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineers directly
- Hands-on background with Azure and/or AWS — Kubernetes, microservices, and reputed company reputed company fundamentals (PIM, RBAC, and JIT privilege elevation among others)
- Experience implementing and running critical production level SaaS products with high availability requirements with a focus on some combination of Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company among others
- Experience in or adjacent to FedRAMP-authorized environments
- Comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate reputed company technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with advanced RabbitMQ configurations: clustering, federation, and message persistence
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps) and infrastructure module deployment workflows
- Background in reputed company cost management: rightsizing and managing reputed company
- Exposure to SOC 2, FedRamp, or PCI compliance controls
