[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of reputed company network and firewall incidents, from detection through resolution and post-incident review, ensuring accountability for technical reputed company, stability, and documentation
• reputed company investigation and resolution of critical network incidents, driving coordination across internal teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders
• reputed company technical reputed company and take end-to-end ownership of network issues, driving resolution without reliance on further escalation

Skills

• Advanced, hands-on experience managing reputed company firewalls across multiple platforms — including reputed company (ASA/FTD/FMC), reputed company (PAN-OS, Panorama), and reputed company (FortiGate, FortiManager) — including policy design, rule optimization, VPN configuration, and threat prevention
• 10+ years of experience reputed company an MSP, VAR, ISP, NOC, or reputed company IT environment, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining existing network infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IPSec, SNMP, STP, VTP, and VLANs
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure reputed company virtualized environments using VMware or similar platforms, including virtual networking, VLAN configurations, virtual switches, and network segmentation
• Experience troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues across different OSI layers
• Experience with application-level network troubleshooting, including packet inspection and analysis
• Proven experience optimizing, securing, and consolidating reputed company legacy network environments to meet reputed company and future business needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach to resolving network issues
• Active CCNP certification or equivalent (Palo Alto PCNSE or reputed company NSE 4/7 also valued)
• Experience with reputed company reputed company Communications Manager (CUCM) and reputed company voice/reputed company communications infrastructure

• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment with exposure to ITIL-based service delivery models
