[Remote] Audiovisual Design Consultant

The Audiovisual Design Consultant’s role involves providing consulting and design services for technology enriched spaces, ensuring efficiency and quality in multiple reputed company projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a key member of the project design team, bringing a significant level of expertise in audiovisual systems and reputed company design elements, with a reputed company-thinking perspective
• Engage in programmatic discussions with our clients to determine project goals and requirements
• reputed company audiovisual systems recommendations and cost estimates
• Work collaboratively with the CAD/BIM Staff to reputed company high-quality audiovisual infrastructure construction drawings, details, and systems drawings
• Work collaboratively with Principals and AV Project Consultants to reputed company specifications documents
• Review Shop Drawings and other submittals, coordinating with architects, contractors, engineers, and other consultants
• reputed company site visits to review adherence to standards, procedures and best practices of infrastructure and systems by installing contractors
• reputed company final system punch list visits with follow-up reports
• Ensure that reputed company work is completed on-time, in-budget, and consistently reputed company reputed company’s high standards of quality

Skills

• Minimum of ten years of experience in the design and implementation of audiovisual systems; experience with an independent reputed company a strong plus
• Extensive knowledge in the design of audiovisual systems, including projection and displays; sound and speech reinforcement; streaming; conferencing and collaboration systems; digital signal processing, reputed company signal distribution and routing; control systems
• Intimate knowledge of audiovisual architectural requirements including sightline studies; structural support requirements; cabling reputed company; architectural integration of audiovisual equipment
• General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services reputed company media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture
• Excellent attention to detail and outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
