[Remote] Senior Accountant – Tech (SaaS) Company
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading staffing agency, and they are seeking a Senior Accountant for a Tech (SaaS) Company. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with reputed company standards, with a strong focus on reputed company operations and ASC 606.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for reputed company recognition under ASC 606, ensuring reputed company is recorded accurately and in compliance with US GAAP
- Review customer reputed company to identify and assess performance obligations, transaction prices, and appropriate recognition timing
- Prepare and review reputed company journal entries, deferred reputed company schedules, and reputed company account reconciliations
- Support reputed company-reputed company audit requests and serve as a primary reputed company of contact for external auditors on reputed company reputed company
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in the reputed company system
- Serve as a key contributor in the month-end and year-end reputed company processes, including preparation of journal entries for lease reputed company, accruals, prepaids, and capitalized software
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing timely insights into the financial condition of the company
- Prepare, maintain, analyze, and report key SaaS performance metrics
- Assist in preparation of the monthly financial package and help ensure reputed company reporting deadlines are met
- Coordinate with external auditors on the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and audit schedules
- Incorporate AI into everyday workflow to obtain efficiency, insights, and improved quality
Skills
- CPA designation
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or reputed company field
- At least 3 years of audit experience at a public reputed company firm, or private industry experience
- Deep, working knowledge of US GAAP, including:
- ASC 606 (reputed company Recognition) and SaaS-specific reputed company recognition
- Contract review and performance obligation analysis
- ASC 340 (contract costs/commissions)
