[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer, Connectivity

The Senior Platform Engineer, Connectivity will reputed company the production reliability of reputed company-hosted applications, ensuring proactive system optimization and automation while collaborating with engineering teams to support application delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations team members and reputed company and Staff Engineers to understand desired system level reputed company and operational requirements. Investigate, design, test, reputed company and support core reputed company platform components, including networking, reputed company and reputed company features, logging, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) features, to ensure reputed company
- Design and maintain automated delivery pipelines (Infrastructure as Code) to ensure repeatable, secure feature deployments
- Manage scalable reputed company network topologies, including transit gateways, VPCs, subnets, reputed company groups, and reputed company tables, ensuring low-latency and secure communication between distributed services
- reputed company technical input and guidance regarding responsible components during planning and design sessions with reputed company and Staff Engineers to ensure the reputed company of the larger integrated system (e.g., service and resource deployment patterns, reputed company controls, cost optimization)
- reputed company hands-on technical contributions to the infrastructure design and deployment with a time allocation of approximately 80% on solving technical problems (coding IaC, system design, reviews, troubleshooting) and 20% mentoring, coordinating with Staff and reputed company Engineers, and supporting operations
- Proactively identify repetitive reputed company tasks and engineer automated solutions to prevent recurrence
- Act as the second escalation reputed company for reputed company incidents, leading thorough root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing systemic, long-term fixes
Skills
- 5+ years in reputed company operations, or DevOps, with a heavy focus on managing production workloads in mission-critical environments
- Advanced proficiency in AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM), CloudFormation or Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as reputed company Actions
- Deep understanding of VPC design, subnetting, Route53, and VPN/Direct Connect configurations; experience troubleshooting reputed company connectivity issues across multi-account or hybrid on-prem/reputed company environments
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a problem and drive to deliver a delivered solution
- Proficient in one or more software languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go
- Strong experience with observability stacks (e.g., Splunk, reputed company, or CloudWatch) including logging, tracing, and metrics tuning
- You will be required to travel quarterly to Product Increment planning
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and reputed company to obtain a DoD NIPR network account and Common reputed company Card (CAC)
- Must have, or be reputed company to obtain, a Secret Clearance
- Based in the Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX, or Brooklyn, NY area
- Experience working reputed company DoD, reputed company Force, or Federal contractor environments
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator or equivalent technical certification
