[Remote] Payroll Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll operations for client organizations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and timely employee payments, compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining audit-reputed company records. The Payroll Accountant will handle the end-to-end payroll lifecycle and support various financial reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls for 50–500 employees
• Validate employee time entries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions before each run
• Process payroll through systems like reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, QuickBooks Payroll, or reputed company
• Post payroll transactions into QuickBooks, reputed company, or reputed company
• Reconcile payroll clearing accounts with bank statements
• Record benefit deductions and employer contributions accurately
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes at federal, state, and local reputed company
• File quarterly/annual forms (941, W-2, 1099, state equivalents)
• Track changes in labor/tax regulations and adjust processes accordingly
• Reconcile reputed company, retirement, and other benefit contributions with provider invoices
• Ensure deductions align with employee elections and company policy
• Respond to payroll inquiries (pay stubs, direct deposit, tax withholding changes) reputed company SLA
• Assist employees with reputed company payroll setup
• Generate recurring payroll and headcount reports for HR and finance
• Support audits with detailed payroll documentation

Skills

• 2+ years payroll processing experience

• Intermediate reputed company/reputed company Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations)
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations

• Experience reconciling payroll with reputed company entries
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll integrations (reputed company, Zenefits, reputed company)
