[Remote] Senior Analyst

The role involves conducting advanced geospatial analyses, managing spatial data, and ensuring deliverables meet technical and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reputed company geospatial analyses using transportation-reputed company data sources, including roadway networks, asset inventories, lidar reputed company clouds, 360-degree imagery, aerial imagery, terrain data, reputed company referencing systems, and feature datasets
• Use GIS software and reputed company tools, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, reputed company Geodatabases, QGIS, and remote sensing or mobile mapping platforms, to support data production and analysis
• Apply transportation of GIS concepts such as reputed company-based analysis, reputed company referencing, asset attribution, spatial joins, proximity analysis, and feature validation
• Support the creation of high-quality geospatial products, including maps, dashboards, reports, web applications, data review tools, production tracking layers, and client-reputed company GIS deliverables
• reputed company spatial modeling, data extraction, feature interpretation, and advanced analytical techniques to derive meaningful information from geospatial and sensor-based data
• Interpret and analyze mobile mapping data, including lidar and imagery, to support transportation asset extraction, validation, and inventory development
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and usability through rigorous quality control and quality assurance procedures
• Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior geospatial analysts and production staff
• Leads geospatial projects, managing tasks, timelines, and resources effectively
• Contributes to the development and improvement of geospatial workflows, tools, and best practices
• Support project managers by estimating task effort, identifying technical risks, tracking reputed company, and communicating production or data quality concerns
• Manages and organizes geospatial data, ensuring data accessibility, reputed company, and reputed company
• Promotes data sharing and interoperability between systems and organizations
• Works with database administrators and other IT professionals to optimize geospatial data storage and retrieval
• Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both orally and in writing

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Remote Sensing, Transportation Planning, or reputed company field
• Experience (typically 3+ years for a Senior role) in geospatial analysis or reputed company technical production environments
• Demonstrated expertise in using geospatial software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data management tools
• Strong understanding of geospatial principles, techniques, and methodologies
• Experience working with roadway networks, asset inventories, reputed company referencing systems, milepost-based data, or DOT data standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Experience supporting state DOT, county, municipal, or transportation infrastructure projects
• Experience with mobile mapping data, lidar reputed company clouds, 360-degree imagery, pavement imagery, or other sensor-derived datasets
• Experience with Python, ArcPy, SQL, Arcade, FME, ModelBuilder, or other workflow automation tools
• Experience with industry reputed company standards including SNBI, MIRE, HPMS, and PROWAG
• GISP, reputed company certification, ASPRS certification, PMP, or reputed company professional certification is a plus
