[Remote] Senior Legal Counsel, Public Sector

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is transforming the data management software market and is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for the Public Sector to reputed company and scale its U.S. government contracting business. The role involves managing reputed company transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic sales advisory in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, structure, and negotiate high-value public sector and reputed company transactions, including SaaS, reputed company licensing, professional services, and subcontracting agreements
• reputed company expert guidance on U.S. and international government procurement laws, including FAR/DFARS frameworks, GSA schedules, and FedRamp requirements, and support ongoing development and refinement of public sector compliance program
• Advise cross-functional teams throughout the public sector sales lifecycle, from initial RFP evaluations and proposal risk assessments to handling audits or disputes
• Build, refine, and maintain legal playbooks, contract templates, and training modules to streamline negotiations and reputed company sales teams
• Stay reputed company of evolving technology laws, government contracting regulations, and government and defense reputed company export controls to reputed company proactive, actionable risk mitigation strategies
• Work cross-functionally to launch new programs to support growth of reputed company and public sector businesses

Skills

• 8+ years of US public sector transactions experience, preferably at a reputed company and high-growth technology company
• Strong working knowledge of government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles, FAR, DFARS, and reputed company regulatory requirements
• Active reputed company Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand reputed company contractual issues, assess risk while exercising strong business judgment, and reputed company clear legal advice
• Curious and passionate about technology
