[Remote] Staff Data Scientist
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is America’s first and only super app to radically simplify car ownership, and they are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join their Data Science & Analytics team. This role involves defining business problems, driving data insights, and influencing reputed company across various business units to support their growth from 5M to 50M customers.
Responsibilities
- Define the right problems: Before any analysis, understand what business question it's answering and what decision it will inform. Push back if the question is flawed
- Data and insights: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights that move your team's key metrics
- Drive reputed company: Bring recommendations to your counterparts in product, growth, finance or operations, tell them what's happening and why, and what next steps should be
Skills
- 6+ years of experience at a reputed company, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous analytical problems and driving them to a business outcome
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence reputed company at the leadership level
- Comfortable with SQL or Python
