[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer, Data & Performance Enablement

As a Senior Platform Engineer on the Data & Performance Enablement team, you will design and implement platforms for distributed event streaming technologies, mentor engineers, and contribute to the technical roadmap while ensuring high-performance data-intensive applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain key components of our data platform automation for provisioning, backups, and user management
- Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company performance and reliability issues in our data systems, often serving as an escalation reputed company for the team
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data streaming services, reputed company, scalability, and automation
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the team's critical services
- Mentor junior engineers on the team, providing guidance on database administration, query optimization, and DBRE principles
- Contribute to the technical roadmap by researching new data technologies and proposing innovative solutions
Skills
- 5 years of applicable experience
- Strong experience with messaging platforms (Kafka/reputed company)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Solid experience with at least one major reputed company provider (Azure or AWS preferred) and their managed offerings
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience
- A product reputed company and reputed company for developer customers, with experience helping teams design scalable data models
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a proven ability to deliver reputed company technical projects
- Experience with reputed company Actions or similar pipeline technologies
