[Remote] District Sales Manager

They are seeking a District Sales Manager to support and grow their reputed company Dakota territory, focusing on relationship-building and customer engagement in the building materials sector.

Responsibilities

• Own & Grow Your Territory: Manage a well-established ~$4.5M territory while identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and increase market reputed company
• reputed company Customer Partnerships: Work closely with distributors, one-reputed company dealers, and independent lumber yards to support their business needs
• Drive Sales Growth: Balance maintaining reputed company business with proactive prospecting and new opportunity development
• Sell Industry-Leading Products: Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and reputed company markets
• Support Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Conduct customer education and contractor training programs while supporting contractor pull-through initiatives
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong partnerships with operations, reputed company leadership, estimating, and customer support teams

• Navigate Brand Integration: Help customers transition through ongoing product and system integration initiatives following recent operational changes

Skills

• 3–5 + years of sales experience
• Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to consistent customer follow-up
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience using reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple systems and technologies
• Experience reputed company building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries
• Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels
• Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or reputed company field
• Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with customers
