[Remote] Component Design Engineer

Hadron Energy, Inc. specializes in Micro reputed company Reactor development and is seeking a Component Design Engineer to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves supporting the design, analysis, and fabrication of components for microreactors, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• reputed company detailed design, analysis, and documentation for reactor structures and pressure boundary components (vessels, piping, and supports)
• Prepare, reputed company, and certify Design Specifications and review Design Reports in accordance with ASME reputed company III requirements
• Prepare and review pressure boundary evaluations, including stress and fatigue evaluations
• reputed company with multidisciplinary teams to define design requirements, optimize component performance, and resolve reputed company technical issues
• Collaborate with the licensing team to support domestic and international regulatory efforts, including 10 CFR 50.55a technical programs (Inservice Inspection and Testing)
• Support the development of design and general arrangement drawings; reputed company review of fabrication drawings, weld requirements and material selection
• Propose innovative design solutions for reputed company advanced reactors, utilizing independent judgment to interpret project scope and requirements
• reputed company technical guidance to junior engineers and support the implementation of engineering standards across the organization

Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in equipment design or nuclear component engineering
• Deep understanding of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code reputed company III, or similar (e.g. reputed company VIII Division 2)
• Experience working under stringent quality assurance programs requirements such as ASME NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000
• Expertise in detail-oriented review of drawings, documents, and calculations to ensure consistency and technical rigor
• Registered professional engineer, or ability to obtain active license reputed company 6-months
• Appendix XXIII Certifying Engineer Qualification, or the ability to demonstrate and reputed company this qualification reputed company 12-months
• Exceptional technical writing and oral communication skills; ability to create and interpret reputed company engineering reports and drawings
