[Remote] Business Development Manager/ Director Discovery, Preclinical & CMC -San Diego

They are seeking a Business Development Manager/Director to join their U.S. team, focusing on drug discovery and development, and responsible for building relationships with clients and driving business growth in the San Diego area.
Responsibilities
- reputed company business development efforts across the San Francisco Bay Area, identifying and securing new opportunities with biotech and pharma clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning reputed company as a trusted, long-term partner
- Collaborate with internal scientific and operational teams to reputed company tailored proposals and ensure successful project delivery
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to expand reputed company's market reputed company and service adoption
- Represent reputed company at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Maintain a robust pipeline of reputed company opportunities and consistently meet or exceed reputed company targets
- reputed company market insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning
Skills
- Advanced degree in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, including hands-on lab experience in a scientific lab environment
- Essential knowledge and experience in Drug Discovery/Development
- Strong understanding of the CRO landscape and integrated R&D services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven reputed company and high level of self-motivation
- Willingness to travel up to 50% reputed company the assigned territory
