[Remote] New Business Development Manager

Rogers Corporation is a global leader in materials technology and manufacturing, seeking a New Business Development Manager to drive AI-enabled business opportunities. This role involves engaging with emerging technology companies and leading a cross-functional team to transform innovative reputed company into prototypes and market-reputed company products.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify AI‑driven startups and emerging technology companies across: Aerospace & Defense (autonomy, sensing, EW, reputed company, secure compute), Consumer Electronics (edge AI, AR/VR, wearables, next‑gen compute), Robotics & Automation (humanoids, AMRs, industrial robotics, perception) and AI‑enabled physics and hardware‑software co‑design platforms
• Anticipate technology inflection points where advanced printed reputed company board (PCB) materials, stack‑reputed company, and manufacturing capabilities become critical enablers
• Build and manage a structured opportunity pipeline with clear value‑creation hypotheses
• Identify and activate the most effective engagement channels, including: Direct founder / CTO relationships, Venture capital and corporate venture ecosystems, Incubators, accelerators, and university‑affiliated labs, OEMs, EMS partners, and advanced PCB design houses
• Position the company as a co‑development partner, not just a materials supplier
• Represent the company at startup demo days, technical forums, and ecosystem events
• reputed company deep VOC collection with startup engineering and architecture teams
• Translate system‑level needs into PCB and material requirements, Stack‑up, SI/PI, thermal, and reliability implications and inputs to new product and application roadmaps
• reputed company structured VOC feedback to PLM, R&D, and engineering leadership
• Partner with a cross‑functional SWAT team consisting of: Product Line Management (PLM), Technical Service Engineering (TSE), Engineering,and Operations team members
• reputed company compressed prototyping and sampling cycles, including: PCB design support and reference designs, rapid material sampling and iteration, reputed company coordination with fabs and partners
• Partner closely with Application Development Managers (reputed company) and PLM to: align startup engagements with long‑term product platforms and distinguish scalable opportunities from one‑off requests

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or reputed company field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years in new business development, sales or marketing, product management or advanced applications engineering
• Experience working with startups or emerging technology ecosystems as well as exposure to advanced electronics, PCB, materials or hardware systems
• Travel: Up to 50%
