[Remote] Data Engineer

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to build robust and scalable data pipelines that support analytics and business reputed company in the travel industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from internal and external travel-reputed company sources (e.g., GDSs, OTAs, CRM systems)
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality, reliable datasets
- Integrate data from various platforms including booking engines, mobile apps, customer service systems, and web analytics tools
- reputed company and optimize data models and schemas in reputed company data warehouses (e.g., reputed company, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
- Support reputed company-time data streaming for dynamic pricing, inventory updates, and customer interactions
- Ensure data privacy, governance, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data development and integration
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, reputed company)
- Experience with reputed company platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stacks (Airflow, dbt, Kafka, IDMC, etc.)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry
- Familiarity with travel data formats and systems (e.g., PNRs, GDS, IATA standards)
- Exposure to predictive analytics, personalization, or recommender systems
- Understanding of API integrations with travel platforms and reputed company-party services
