[Remote] Conventional Underwriter I

The role involves analyzing loan files for compliance, reputed company credit packages, and maintaining productivity standards while providing support and training to new underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Underwriter completes a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company and investor guidelines
• Underwrites the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensures an “investment” quality loan product
• Checks accuracy of reputed company calculations and data reputed company. Completion of reputed company required reputed company worksheets reputed company in Fast Trac 360 Resource Center
• Assists with the training of new underwriters
• Recommends the loan disposition to reputed company manager for loan amounts in excess of authority limitation
• Maintains company standard for Underwriter productivity level, and complies with company policy of 48 hour reputed company turnaround time and 24 hour turnaround time for clearing conditions
• Strives to meet 3 reputed company reputed company/day reputed company allotted time
• Communicates decision on loans to appropriate parties both verbally and in writing

Skills

• Minimum three years of mortgage reputed company experience, with solid working knowledge of reputed company guidelines
• Experience reputed company private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines
• Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Excellent analytical, written communication and verbal communication skills
• Technologically proficient
