[Remote] Network Engineer (Junior)

They are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to manage network and system administration, ensuring the reputed company and reliability of the classified and unclassified infrastructure for the Army Aviation and Missile Center.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, reputed company, and maintain classified and unclassified network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and virtual networking components
- reputed company network configurations to support evolving modeling, simulation, and test requirements
- Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and network segmentation
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and configuration issues
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and baselines
- Assist with IT modernization and technology refresh initiatives
- reputed company configuration, preventative maintenance, fault isolation of local/remote LAN equipment, and telecommunications circuitry
- Duties may include providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture; providing information for hardware and software selection; and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future reputed company requirements
- Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the classified and unclassified networks
- Conduct testing of network systems and associated devices
- Evaluate and report on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
- Conduct audit of equipment and production systems and create appropriate reports
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or reputed company field
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Three (3) years of prior experience in a similar role
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired
- US Secret Clearance
