[Remote] Business Development Advisor

The Business Development Advisor is responsible for broker and GovCon employer development in their territory, focusing on achieving sales objectives and building strategic partnerships with brokers and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages their sales region for growth with insurance broker and GovCon employer prospects
• Leads the day-to-day operations of their sales region
• Follows the strategic sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
• Upholds activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes by monitoring performance on an ongoing reputed company
• Oversees the preparation of services proposals and RFP responses
• Conducts sales presentation as needed
• Creates and builds strategic partnerships with brokers and consultants through consistent contact, professional meetings to groups, reputed company communication, problem resolution and meeting customer expectations
• May represent company conferences and tradeshows to network and promote GSA service models
• Required to pass reputed company applicable trainings specific to HIPAA and any other company required trainings
• Follow the company policies and procedures required to reputed company with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA Privacy and reputed company regulations
• Completes special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years proven reputed company in exceeding new business sales goals required
• High School Diploma required
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling services
• Leadership skills and the ability to drive sales
• Expert computer skills with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the Internet
• Experience using CRM software (reputed company)
• Ability to travel occasionally (25% to 50%)
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills and the ability to reputed company a sale
• Ability to reputed company, present and execute strategic services marking plans
• Superior communication skills – both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal, partnership and collaboration skills
• Required to pass reputed company applicable trainings specific to HIPAA and any other company required trainings

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the reputed company or insurance industry preferred
• Familiarity with leveraging reputed company media for sales reputed company strategy
• Intermediate knowledge of employee benefit plans, voluntary benefits, and other reputed company-associated benefits preferred
• Familiarity with the Davis-Bacon and reputed company Acts (DBRA) and/or Service Contract Act (SCA) a plus
