Network Engineer (Engineer Network 4) - 28494

About the position reputed company is seeking an reputed company Network Engineer with a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification to support the design, implementation, and sustainment of critical communications infrastructure for reputed company and federal customers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with structured cabling systems, inside and reputed company plant (ISP/OSP) design, and building communications distribution architectures that meet BICSI, NEC, reputed company, and DoD UFC standards. This role supports facility design efforts, develops engineering design packages, conducts site surveys, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure communications reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company detailed telecommunications infrastructure designs, including ISP/OSP cabling, pathway layouts, telecom spaces (MDF/IDF), and network distribution systems
• Produce engineering design packages, drawings, and specifications compliant with BICSI, UFC, NEC, reputed company, and DoD requirements
• Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure, identify deficiencies, and propose reputed company or expansion solutions
• Create and review engineering documentation such as reputed company elevations, one-line diagrams, cable schedules, and as-reputed company records
• Work alongside network engineering, facilities engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration with program needs

• Support system integration, testing, and quality assurance activities
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, technical briefings, and project coordination sessions

Requirements

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in reputed company field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or reputed company discipline, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience designing structured cabling systems, communications infrastructure, or network distribution architecture
• Strong understanding of ISP/OSP cabling systems, telecom room design, and communications reputed company
• Experience developing design packages using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, reputed company, and DoD UFC standards
• Ability to conduct site surveys and produce accurate engineering documentation (drawings, cable schedules, as builts)
• Excellent communication, technical writing, and customer facing skills
