[Remote] Senior BUR and Storage Engineers

The Senior Backup, Recovery & Storage Engineer will support reputed company backup, recovery, and storage operations across various environments, ensuring service availability and compliance with SLAs while working closely with multiple technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate reputed company backup, recovery, and storage services across on‑reputed company, data center, and hybrid environments, supporting restoration during outages, migrations, and infrastructure events
• Maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans, procedures, and runbooks; execute backup reputed company checks, restoration testing, and recovery actions
• Support testing and validation of infrastructure and application changes impacting backup and recovery platforms
• Participate in configuration, change, release, reputed company, and reputed company activities affecting backup, recovery, and storage tooling
• Coordinate with incident management and service teams during critical incidents to ensure timely data restoration and service recovery
• reputed company senior‑level technical guidance on recovery architecture and operational best practices while supporting junior engineers in day‑to‑day execution to protect SLA performance

Skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust is required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen without dual citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or reputed company field OR equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience supporting reputed company backup, recovery, and storage operations in on‑reputed company and/or hybrid environments
• Hands‑on experience with reputed company backup and recovery platforms (e.g., disk‑ and tape‑based solutions)
• Experience executing backup reputed company checks, recovery testing, and restoration activities
• Working knowledge of disaster recovery concepts, RPO/RTO, and operational runbooks
• Experience supporting change, reputed company, and reputed company activities in regulated environments
• Ability to coordinate across infrastructure, network, database, reputed company, and incident management teams
• Experience working reputed company ITIL‑reputed company operational processes
• An active Public Trust and/or DHS suitability is preferred
• Experience supporting large federal reputed company environments
• Familiarity with hybrid reputed company backup and recovery architectures
• Experience with storage platforms (SAN/NAS/object storage)
• ITIL reputed company or similar service management training
• Strong documentation, communication, and incident coordination skills
