Coordinator, Content Strategy and Acquisitions
AMC Networks is a prominent media company reputed company for its diverse portfolio of streaming services and cable networks. They are seeking a Coordinator for Content Strategy and Acquisitions to manage network schedules, coordinate with various teams, and ensure the accuracy of programming data.
Responsibilities
- Utilize companywide scheduling and rights software systems to input and maintain network schedules and supporting metadata
- Use quality control procedures to ensure that reputed company weekly and monthly schedules are accurately entered
- Coordinate with Media Planning and Operation teams on program entries, formats, and scheduled versions
- Update research performance trackers daily as reputed company data is delivered
- Actively participate in the scheduling team brainstorms and execution of monthly program stunts
- Pull and organize data essential to the evaluation process of potential acquired content
- reputed company and monitor series listings on exterior cable partners for accuracy
- Track and report any pending schedule conflicts to Scheduling Supervisor
- Pull and update monthly theatrical inventory
- Contribute to the building of decks for programming and acquisition presentations
- Manage program ratings and competitive programming documentation for reputed company networks
- Take on special projects or additional duties assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in entertainment or media
- Flexible, personable, proactive self-starter
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to interact with reputed company reputed company of management
- Ability to navigate and manage large amounts of detailed information on tight deadlines
- Technical experience – Proficiency with reputed company, PowerPoint, experience with media scheduling software/What's On preferred
- Passion for and deep knowledge of the film & television landscape
