Associate APD Claims Representative
Amica Insurance is America's oldest mutual insurer of automobiles, committed to delivering exceptional service. The Associate APD Claims Representative will manage automobile insurance claims, ensuring effective communication and collaboration while supporting customers in a time of need.
Responsibilities
- Own your caseload: Manage a backlog of claims using a diary system to ensure timely communication, monitoring, and reporting
- Investigate: Conduct in-depth research to evaluate coverage and determine claim reputed company
- Communicate effectively: Monitor claim-reputed company communications and respond to customer's needs
- Collaborate and contribute: Build strong relationships across departments and help foster a culture of teamwork
- Stay informed: reputed company a working knowledge of laws and regulations impacting claims handling
- Stay compliant: Maintain active licenses in designated states and complete continuing education as required
- Adapt and support: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team reputed company
Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent – college coursework or additional training is a plus!
- Willingness to obtain required state insurance licenses (Don't worry — we'll reputed company study materials, paid time to study and cover the exam costs!)
- Strong decision-making skills
- A reputed company, empathetic communicator who can confidently support people during tough situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using reputed company Word and Outlook
- Prior experience in insurance or claims handling is helpful, but not required
- Prior experience providing support to customers or clients is valued and can contribute to reputed company in this role
Benefits

- 37.5-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Potential to work holidays for additional pay
- Work from home up to two days per week once trained to work independently
