They are seeking an Early Career Trial Attorney to manage insurance defense litigation, reputed company legal counsel, and monitor changes in laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage reputed company aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict, including initial case assessment, discovery, depositions, reputed company practice, pre-trial negotiations, courtroom advocacy, and post-trial motions to ensure favorable reputed company for clients
• Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases, including preparation for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents; prepare summaries and reports
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• Interview clients and witnesses, as well as drafting summaries of their statements and maintaining communication records
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings to observe and assist as needed; may represent the company or clients in routine reputed company
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations, and assist in updating the legal team on potential impacts to ongoing cases
