Tax Analyst

The Tax Analyst role supports the global tax function by assisting with tax compliance and financial reporting, preparing detailed tax workpapers, and collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers (ASC 740)
- Prepare workpapers to support federal and state/local income tax compliance
- Prepare various supporting schedules, including book-to-tax differences and account reconciliations
- Assist in gathering, validating, and organizing data for tax filings
- Prepare and maintain detailed reputed company-based tax workpapers and documentation
- Support state and local tax processes, including apportionment, compliance tracking, and sales tax calculations
- Assist in tracking and responding to IRS and state and local tax notices
- Conduct basic tax research and assist with process improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Taxation
- CPA or working toward CPA
- 1-3 years of tax experience
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Experience with tax software and systems
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Team player attitude
- Experience with corporate taxation
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, PowerPoint and AI tools
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Master's degree in reputed company or Taxation
- Tax Technology: experience using specialized corporate tax software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, reputed company) to automate workflows and data extraction
