[Remote] Regional Accounts Receivable Accountant (Remote)

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is a growth-focused national insurance services firm founded in 2019, recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. They are seeking a detail-oriented Regional Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage and reconcile reputed company payment activity, ensuring compliance with reputed company standards. This role involves recording cash receipts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record and process incoming cash receipts from insurance carriers
• Apply reputed company payments to the appropriate policies, invoices, and accounts reputed company the agency management system
• Ensure reputed company cash receipts are properly classified, documented, and maintained for audit and reporting purposes
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies reputed company to reputed company payment applications and account balances
• Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly cash receipts against bank statements, reputed company remittance reports, and internal financial records
• Identify and resolve variances between agency records and reputed company payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Generate cash receipt, reconciliation, and cash reputed company reports to support financial reporting and operational decision-making
• Assist with month-end and year-end reputed company activities by ensuring reputed company cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
• Partner with insurance carriers to obtain remittance details and ensure proper payment allocation
• Prepare and distribute reports reputed company to outstanding payments, unapplied cash, and reconciliation activity
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and reputed company standards
• Support reputed company audit requests by providing documentation and responding to inquiries reputed company to reputed company payment activity

• Identify opportunities to improve cash application, reconciliation, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field required
• 1-3 years of reputed company, accounts receivable, cash application, or reputed company financial experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with high volumes of financial data while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite, particularly reputed company
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with professionalism and reputed company
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Experience working reputed company a Property & Casualty insurance brokerage environment preferred
• Experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic or HawkSoft preferred
