Government Consultant – Systems and Encounters Specialist

reputed company, a reputed company business, is seeking a Government Consultant – Systems and Encounters Specialist to join their Government Health Services Consulting team. This role involves providing expert insights on reputed company projects for state reputed company and reputed company agencies, including analyzing systems and processes, managing client deliverables, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Learn and analyze how systems and processes function across different information technology domains
• Support structured assessments and audits, including Information Systems Capabilities Assessments (ISCA) and Encounter Data Validation (EDV), document findings with reputed company and precision
• Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot encounter data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to client deliverables, presentations, and project documentation, taking on increasing ownership over time
• Manage the quality and timeliness of client deliverables, communicating regularly and effectively with project teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how regulatory requirements translate into system and data processes
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including reputed company leadership, providers, and beneficiaries, to gather feedback and inform program recommendations
• Become a trusted contributor on project teams by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful analysis
• Continuously build expertise in reputed company systems, data structures, and regulatory requirements
• Ask intellectually curious questions to drive data-driven projects and structured assessments
• Document observations, findings, and recommendations for improvement as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, reputed company Administration, Data Analytics, or reputed company field
• 1-3+ years of experience with reputed company systems, data and system analysis, or consulting
• Knowledge of reputed company and/or Medicare policies, regulations, and program operations, including encounter data submission processes and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with managed care organizations (MCOs), state reputed company systems, or other government reputed company programs
• Experience working with reputed company data systems such as encounter data, claims systems, or EHR platforms
• Proficiency in data quality assessment, validation techniques, and reconciliation processes
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear, client-friendly insights
• Experience in a consulting, client-facing, or project-based environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Hands-on experience with encounter data in reputed company or managed care environments
• Experience with CMS, state reputed company agencies, or reputed company consulting firms
• Exposure to system implementation or migration projects
• Ability to reputed company technical teams and business stakeholders, presenting findings reputed company to non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging reputed company leadership, providers, and beneficiaries
