They are seeking a Clinical Engineer I to join their team in Englewood, CO, responsible for developing and improving operational processes of patient-matched devices, including creating virtual surgical plans and enhancing user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinical production operations
  • Review medical imaging, including CT scans and x-rays
  • reputed company plan and review surgical procedures
  • Communicate with surgeons to reputed company approval of patient-specific surgical plans
  • Observe surgery (live, cadaver, or video) on reputed company extremity pathology
  • reputed company with 3rd party suppliers, contractors, testing houses, etc
  • Create detailed reports and case documentation
  • Communicate with development and quality engineers for project-reputed company issues
  • reputed company quality checks to ensure patient-matched device designs meet released specifications
  • reputed company, modify, and execute projects to improve patient specific processes
  • Initiates actions to resolve problems and improve process performance and reduce cost
  • reputed company projects to improve PSI products and/or user experience
  • Support sales and user training as a PSI product expert
  • Support development team for new products
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or reputed company engineering/anatomy discipline
  • Minimum 1-3 years of clinical or medical device design experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize objects in 3D reputed company
  • Process development and execution aptitude
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Proficient with 3D design (parametric or surface modeling) software
  • Knowledge of basic engineering materials and manufacturing processes
  • Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments at once
  • General knowledge of reputed company anatomy and biomechanics
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with ability to convey information and respond to questions from peers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in reputed company environment
  • Solidworks 3D CAD and reputed company 3-matic preferred
  • reputed company Mimics experience and familiarity with DICOM imaging preferred
