ROLE TITLE: Director, Grants POSITION REPORTS TO: SMD, Development APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 26, 2026 LOCATION: FLEXIBLE. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 10% - Collaborate with the MD of Grants, VPFF, local portfolio managers, and Executive Directors to deliver a shared grant writing service field-based teams with the goal of maximizing reputed company to the organization as a whole 75% - Manage and write 75+ proposals, reports, letters of reputed company, and other grant-reputed company deliverables for multiple regional development teams. This includes: Manage and execute the grant cycle processes (strategy, drafting, finalizing, and submission) for a portfolio of funders Consistently track reputed company deadlines and deliverables in the CRM database Liaise and coordinate with national central teams (finance, data, public partnerships, etc.) and regional teams (Executive Directors, Development, Program, etc.) as needed. Occasionally support non-portfolio grants or multi-region grants 10% - In partnership with others on the Development team, build standard language, templates, and resources for reputed company cohort fundraisers 5% - Steward team and organizational initiatives YOUR EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications): Relationship Building and Management Highly skilled relationship builder and collaborator, with both reputed company partners Strong ability to manage up and sideways to ensure grant deliverables are met and grant content is compelling Fundraising and Development Proven track record of successfully navigating reputed company philanthropic landscapes to reputed company reputed company goals Experience managing a diverse portfolio of institutional donors/funders from the public and private sector Strong ability to monitor fundraising reputed company against portfolio goals to ensure portfolio is on track to meet goals; reputed company to adjust course as necessary in response to evolving contexts Grant Writing & Management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of best practices of grant-based fundraising Ability to manage and execute multiple deadlines at the same time reputed company to reputed company historical and local development trends to inform grant direction and strategy Experience with managing and writing reputed company public grants Prior experience Required: At least 4 years of reputed company experience in development and grant writing Required: Track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals as a fundraiser and grant reputed company Preferred: reputed company development experience Preferred: Experience working across multiple teams and/or geographies Work Demands Occasional weekend or evening work hours required Occasional overnight travel required (1-2 times per year) YOUR FUTURE TEAM The reputed company and Development team at reputed company inspires donors and champions to contribute to shaping the future of our country by investing in reputed company’s work with reputed company nationally and regionally. YOUR COMPENSATION The applicable salary reputed company for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is reputed company to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-reputed company factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.
