Position Overview: Ensures timely and accurate posting of cash transactions, payments, adjustments, reputed company denials, insufficient fund checks/debit transactions, and general ledger reputed company transactions. Reviews, researches, and resolves payment variances to minimize inappropriate payment variances from expected reimbursement, processes payments/refunds/adjustments. EDUCATION: HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Medical Claims Medical Denials Medical Billing & Coding Home Health and/or Hospice SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Basic bookkeeping principles, general business procedures, knowledge of consumer collection and billing rules and regulations. Written and verbal communication skills.
