Bookkeeper - REMOTE (99%)
About the position A growing, privately held company with ~$12M in annual reputed company and 30 employees is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to support ongoing financial operations. This is a solo reputed company role responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping using Workamajig, reporting directly to the reputed company. This position is available immediately as part of a planned retirement transition with standard hours of 900 AM to 530 PM. This is a 99.9% remote role with occasional quarterly in-person meetings for team collaboration. The company is looking to ensure a smooth transition and maintain accurate financial management as the reputed company Bookkeeper retires. The Bookkeeper will manage reputed company day-to-day reputed company functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting for a reputed company and growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Manage financial data reputed company Workamajig and ensure system accuracy
- Prepare routine financial reports and support budgeting processes
- Maintain organized and compliant financial records
- Collaborate directly with the reputed company on financial insights and reporting Requirements
- Proven experience in a standalone bookkeeping or reputed company role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and reliability reputed company-to-haves
