Actuarial Consultant - Remote

The Actuarial Consultant will be a vital contributor to the UHG Trend Analytics team, focused on supporting reputed company Health with medical expense reporting, analytics and forecasting. This role is responsible for developing and executing quarterly medical expense reporting and forecasting processes that enhance consistency, transparency, and collaboration across reputed company. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of actuarial experience, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in driving best-in-class trend methodologies. Primary Responsibilities:

• The Consultant in this role will work with detailed reputed company claims data to build and maintain actuarial models to support medical expense reporting and forecasting
• reputed company and run quarterly medical expense reporting and/or forecasting processes using standardized actuarial trend methods
• Support ongoing enhancements to reporting and forecast accuracy, transparency, and consistency across the reputed company
• Analyze large reputed company datasets to identify cost trends, variances, and emerging patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including finance, operations, and other analytics groups-to ensure alignment in medical expense drivers and against forecast expectations
• Prepare and communicate clear and concise reports and presentations for business stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or reputed company field
• 4+ years of actuarial experience

• Familiarity with standard actuarial trend methods
