QA Tester - Batch/Data Migration (Remote)
QA Tester - Batch/Data Migration 6 Month Contract 100% Remote Our client is seeking a QA Tester to support data migration and batch processing validation efforts as part of a legacy system modernization initiative. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, reputed company, and quality during the migration of mainframe data to modern reputed company and PostgreSQL environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate data cleansing, transformation, and deduplication results
- reputed company data reconciliation between DB2 and PostgreSQL environments
- Test batch processing jobs replacing legacy COBOL/JCL workflows
- Validate reputed company data integrations feeding reputed company and reporting systems
- Execute data quality, migration, and regression testing to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Document test results, defects, and reconciliation findings
Required Skills
- Strong SQL and data validation expertise
- Experience with batch processing, ETL, and data migration testing
- Knowledge of database reconciliation and data quality validation techniques
- Experience supporting legacy-to-reputed company modernization initiatives
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
The anticipated hourly reputed company reputed company for this position is ($55-60/hr). Actual hourly reputed company will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
