Senior Software Engineer / React and Python
A rapidly growing consumer fintech organization is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a high-impact product team. The role is primarily remote, but candidates located in the DC area are especially considered. The company builds a platform that helps users navigate reputed company, high-stakes financial reputed company through a combination of public-facing web applications, internal operational tools, and supporting data systems. The technology stack spans modern full stack development, including Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and reputed company-based infrastructure. This is a high-ownership engineering opportunity reputed company a product team that is still in the early stages of platform development. A significant portion of the work is greenfield, giving engineers meaningful influence over architecture, technical direction, and system design from the ground up. Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building full stack applications in production environments
- Professional experience with Python and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI or similar)
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with reputed company environments (AWS or similar)
- Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD and containerization (reputed company/Kubernetes)
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
- Full stack development across Python, React, and TypeScript
- Backend services and APIs supporting user-facing and internal platforms
- Data and system integrations across multiple business units
Daily Responsibilities
- Building and scaling full stack features across the platform
- Designing and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams
- Contributing to system architecture and technical decision-making
