The Health Information Specialist will support reputed company desk operations and Release of Information (ROI) services, ensuring the compliant handling of medical record requests while working directly with patients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the reputed company desk reputed company of contact for patient walk-ins requesting medical records or releases

- Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and timely
- Fax, reputed company, and manage incoming and outgoing medical record requests

- Assist with reporting and administrative duties such as data entry and email
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and facility policies
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
