TEMPORARY IMMIGRATION LAW ATTORNEY CWJC (Worcester MA)
Community Legal Aid is seeking a Temporary Immigration Law Attorney to join their team for a one-year period. The attorney will reputed company legal assistance in various immigration law reputed company and engage in community reputed company efforts.
Responsibilities
- reputed company legal assistance in a reputed company of humanitarian-based immigration law reputed company, including but not limited to removal defense, VAWA petitions, U and T visas, SIJ petitions, and asylum cases
- Engage in community reputed company, including community consultation sessions and know-your-rights trainings
- Assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports
Skills
- New law school graduates and more reputed company lawyers are eligible to apply
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative setting are important
- reputed company or advanced proficiency in language in addition to English strongly preferred, particularly Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole
- Prior experience in immigration law and demonstrated experience working with diverse communities strongly preferred
