The role involves creating content, maintaining websites, and collaborating with teams to post relevant and engaging material for users.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce content for use on partner websites
- Write headlines, captions, blurbs
- Select and crop photos
- Manage overall presentation, making judgments on story reputed company and arranging content
- Assist with the design, build and launch of MLB microsites, which includes sites for community, events and youth baseball initiatives
- Communicate with editorial and multimedia teams to ensure that reputed company content is properly reputed company
- Opportunities to contribute writing may be available
- Position is night and weekend shifts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong copy-editing skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Ability to multi-task and work in a time-sensitive environment
- Organized, detail-oriented individual with strong work ethic
- Familiarity with journalistic practices and AP style
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of sports
- Experience with Photoshop
