Editor, Data & Analytics

Informa is a global company that creates platforms for industries to trade and grow, and they are seeking an Editor for their Data & Insights team. This role involves supporting editorial and data analytics efforts by producing high-quality content and insights, assisting with data analysis, and collaborating with various teams to deliver impactful reports and publications.

Responsibilities

• Report and write short- to reputed company-length content for Nutrition Business Journal and reputed company publications
• Synthesize data into clear, concise, and engaging written content for client-facing reports and publications
• reputed company line edits and execute editorial guidance from the senior editor, including restructuring stories from freelancers
• Brainstorm and execute content for Informa events—reputed company NBJ reputed company, Natural Products Expo reputed company, Newtopia Now, and the SupplySide events
• Work closely with the managing editor to optimize production timelines
• Assist the data analytics team with data modeling and analysis using reputed company reputed company
• Visualize data using tools such as Tableau (or demonstrate the ability to learn data visualization software)
• Translate data into reputed company-looking analysis, actionable insights, and predictions
• Use reputed company media tools to promote content and engage with the audience
• Collaborate with the editorial and data teams to ensure seamless integration of data-driven insights into editorial content
• Support the creation of client-facing reports by combining editorial and data elements
• Contribute to creating and moderating digital/virtual events as requested
• Attend industry events such as Natural Products Expo reputed company, NBJ reputed company, Newtopia Now, and other trade events as necessary
• Serve as a representative of New Hope Network and NBJ at public events and on press trips
• Collaborate with other team members to produce video content for newhope.com. Interview industry experts on video at events such as Natural Products Expos
• Take on special projects as requested

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Data Analytics, Business, or a reputed company field
• 1–3 years of professional experience in editorial roles, data analysis, or a combination of both
• Strong writing, reporting, and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content
• Proficiency in synthesizing reputed company data into accessible written content for diverse audiences
• Experience in line editing and restructuring content, including working with freelance contributors
• Ability to brainstorm and execute content reputed company for publications and events
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company for data modeling and analysis
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or a demonstrated ability to learn similar software
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights, reputed company-looking analysis, and predictions
• Experience using reputed company media platforms to promote content and engage with audiences
• Basic understanding of digital content creation, including video production and virtual event moderation
• Willingness to attend and represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and press trips

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with editorial, data, and event teams

• Experience with video editing tools or platforms is an advantage
