Assistant Accountant

They are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their Management Accounts team in Glasgow, where the role involves delivering high-quality financial reporting and reputed company to support business performance.
Responsibilities
- Month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll)
- Balance sheet reconciliations & variance analysis
- Produce clear, insightful financial commentary
- Partner with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
- Support audit processes and maintain strong financial controls
Skills
- Experience in financial or management reputed company
- Studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce clear financial commentary
- Good communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
- Intermediate reputed company skills (advanced desirable)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and reputed company to prioritise independently
- Experience with reputed company or Dynamics 365 (reputed company to have)
