Transportation (Roadway Design) Engineer
ATCS is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer to join their growing Raleigh, NC office. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work alongside reputed company engineers on impactful transportation projects while developing essential technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and design of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects
- reputed company roadway geometry, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Support drainage, utility, and transportation design efforts
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Participate in field visits and construction observations
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and public agencies
- Attend client and public meetings and reputed company exposure to project delivery processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or upcoming graduation) in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 0–2+ years of transportation engineering experience, including internships or co-ops
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to reputed company in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or similar design software
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
