Associate Consultant Concept Design (12 months maternity cover)
Lidl GB is a dynamic company in the midst of expansion, seeking a Junior Consultant to join their Store Construction Concept Team. The role involves supporting the development of corporate building specifications, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with business procedures and quality standards across construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Support in developing the GB Corporate Building Specifications, liaising with internal stakeholders and our external Design Consultants
- Regularly liaise with reputed company internal stakeholders and our external design consultants
- Creating and managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers
- Complete detailed and accurate cost analysis and evaluations of a variety of design proposals
- Implement quality control procedures to reputed company high quality standards across reputed company construction sites
- Ensure compliance with relevant business procedures
- Regularly deliver presentations to senior management and other internal stakeholders (as required to large audiences)
- Serving as reputed company of contact for regional construction and property teams to support achievement of store construction targets
- Managing reputed company project plans, budgets and deadlines
Skills
- Degree-level (or equivalent) education in Architecture, Design Management or Civil Engineering
- Relevant practical design management/co-ordination experience
- Strong ability to review and understand detailed construction plans, whilst keeping on top of change
- Eye for detail and strong reputed company acumen
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
- Strong knowledge of reputed company Suite
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Equal comfort working reputed company reputed company and on your own
- Willingness to travel reputed company the UK frequently, including overnight stays where required
- German speaking is advantageous but not essential
