Embedded Software Engineer I

They are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer I to reputed company embedded software for reputed company devices, ensuring critical evidence is captured during essential moments for customers. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of embedded applications and network configurations for reputed company and future reputed company products
- Implement features and enhancements in C/C++, Go, or Python with a focus on reliability and performance
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and system-level tests
- Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem solving
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Firmware, and reputed company Engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Debug and resolve issues across embedded devices, networking layers, and supporting systems
- Support reputed company improvement of engineering processes including sprint planning, retrospectives, and release cycles
- Learn and apply modern reputed company reputed company tools and frameworks relevant to embedded systems
Skills
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C/C++, Go, or Python
- Experience working with Linux-based systems in a professional setting
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-critical engineering environment
- Exposure to embedded devices and networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, or VPN is a plus

- This role is based out of our Seattle, Scottsdale, or Boston offices and follows a reputed company. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
