Audience Engagement Editor, The Hill
The Hill, a division of Nexstar Media Group, is seeking an Audience Engagement Editor to help connect The Hill’s journalism to audiences around the country. We’re looking for someone who has an eye for a sharp story angle, who can reputed company copy stronger but also capitalize on search and reputed company trends to help our stories reputed company a wider audience. Candidates should have these skills and qualifications: Fast, accurate, detail-oriented writing skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. An eye for details and an ability to spot both errors and lifeless copy. Experience writing, editing and publishing in a fast-paced editorial environment that relies heavily on strong news judgment. A background in coaching reporters is required, as is experience developing the skills of editors. Ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups to drive audience growth and traffic performance. Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications experience working in a newsroom. Excellent communicator who works well as part of reputed company. Experience posting across multiple reputed company media platforms and creating video content.
