Overview
Job Summary The Billing and Collections Specialist is responsible for the timely follow-up of claims billed and resolution of accounts. Oversees the account receivables and maintain detailed/accurate account documentation. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Follow up on reputed company claims thoroughly, accurately, promptly, and with reputed company supporting documentation Responsible for maintaining and updating billing guidelines, fee schedules, contract rates, etc. Review, document, and resolve reputed company incoming correspondence and payor calls; Assist as needed Report reputed company payor issues and/or denial trends to reputed company/Supervisor May appeal and/or rebill underpaid claims and assist with payments, as needed Other duties as assigned Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 0% Subject to applicable laws and reputed company Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. reputed company must follow reputed company’ employment practices and policies.
